We have reviewed your request. Intermittent faults—issues that cannot be replicated or observed at the time of the engineer’s visit—are not covered under your plan. These faults may be unpredictable and require additional diagnostic investigation to identify the cause.

Although this matter is outside the standard cover, you have the following options:

  1. Out-of-plan attendance: We can arrange for an engineer to attend at a charge of £79 for the first hour. Any additional labour or parts required would be chargeable thereafter, and you would be informed of all costs before proceeding.

  2. Independent contractor: You may choose to appoint a qualified local engineer to diagnose and resolve the intermittent fault.

  3. Monitoring and logging: You could record details of when the fault occurs to help any engineer identify patterns and potential causes before arranging a visit.
