Our records show that during a previous attendance, our engineer recommended specific remedial works to be completed. As these advised works have not yet been carried out, we are unable to proceed with a further visit relating to the same issue at this time. The outstanding recommendations may directly impact the performance and safety of the system, and therefore must be resolved before we can reassess the claim under your plan.
To help you move forward, you have the following options:
Complete the recommended works: Once the advised repairs have been carried out, please provide confirmation and we will be happy to reassess and arrange attendance in line with your policy.
Out-of-plan attendance: If you would prefer not to complete the recommended works first, we can arrange an engineer visit at a charge of £79 for the first hour. Any additional labour or parts required would be chargeable thereafter. You would be advised of any further costs before proceeding, and the decision to continue would remain entirely yours.
Independent contractor: You may also choose to appoint a local qualified engineer to complete the recommended works.
